Responsibilities
Provide administrative and operational support to the Human Resources function
Contribute to recruitment, onboarding, and employee experience initiatives
Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records
Ensure data integrity within the HRIS (UKG)
Act as Secretary to the Joint Health & Safety Committee (JHSC)
Respond to general HR inquiries and provide guidance on policies and programs
Support the administration, coordination, and continuous improvement of HR policies and programs
Provide coordination and administrative support of firm events and employee engagement initiatives
Support recruitment processes for assigned roles
Assist in developing interview guides and basic assessment tools
Gather feedback from new employees on their onboarding experience
Contribute to maintaining a positive and engaging employee experience through consistent and professional support
Requirements
Human Resources degree or diploma (or related education/experience); CHRP designation complete or in progress preferred
1–2 years of HR or administrative experience in a professional environment
Exposure to recruitment, onboarding, employee engagement, or HR program coordination is an asset
Basic knowledge of employment-related legislation (ESA, Human Rights Code, etc.)
Experience with HRIS systems (e.g., UKG) and proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Demonstrated ability to take initiative and manage competing priorities
