About the role

  • Human Resources Manager supporting operational HR team and implementing HR initiatives at Legislative Assembly of British Columbia. Managing services like recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.

Responsibilities

  • Provide leadership to the operational HR team
  • Support a wide range of HR services and programs such as recruitment, onboarding, performance management, and employee relations
  • Plan and implement HR initiatives that maintain compliance with employment laws and regulations
  • Foster a positive work environment that promotes employee engagement and productivity
  • Provide service excellence to clients

Requirements

  • A post-secondary degree in human resources management or a related program
  • At least five years of related generalist HR experience with progressive levels of responsibility, including human resources leadership
  • A Chartered Professional in Human Resources (CPHR) designation (preferred).
