About the role

  • People & Culture Advisor providing specialist people-related services at Law Business Research. Supporting managers and employees with HR advice and insights on a part-time basis in London.

Responsibilities

  • Providing timely advice around relevant employment law, policies, processes and best practice.
  • Providing advice to managers and employees on a range of topics via the shared People & Culture inbox.
  • Conducting Exit interviews with leavers, feeding back insights to the P&C team to ensure we are alerted to issues and managing them.
  • Supporting the P&C team in launching new initiatives and projects.
  • Using Workday (HRIS System) to analyse data around diversity, turnover and other key metrics, producing insight reports for the P&C Partners and key stakeholders
  • Coaching and supporting line managers to ensure they understand best practice across the employee life cycle.
  • Questioning and challenging others to get to the root of the people and business issues.
  • Role modelling the values, culture and behaviours.
  • Seeking and recommending improvements to the P&C processes and procedures.

Requirements

  • CIPD qualified desirable
  • Minimum 2 years generalist HR experience
  • Ability to work in a confidential and discrete manner
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent time-management and organisational skills
  • Excellent excel and Microsoft office skills
  • Workday experience preferred
  • Demonstrate integrity and confidentiality in all aspects of work
