About the role

  • Area Development Manager developing new business strategies and nurturing client relationships for the UK’s largest drainage provider. Focused on achieving sales targets and maintaining client satisfaction.

Responsibilities

  • Targeting and sourcing new business across the region
  • Working with National accounts to develop and grow business
  • Attending site visits to evaluate work requested
  • Quoting for works quickly in accordance with costings
  • Proactively following up on quotations to secure business
  • Upselling to existing clients
  • Managing your own diary and administration
  • Working closely with depot manager to achieve sales targets and forecasting
  • Travelling to various locations and regional training events & meetings
  • Attending sales events, networking events
  • Proactively selling the services through advertising campaigns and LinkedIn etc

Requirements

  • Business to Business Sales experience essential
  • Service industry sales experience - ideally with drainage/waste management or construction related industry or multi utility essential
  • Excellent work ethic who can go above and beyond to ensure the best service is delivered
  • Desire to succeed in a niche but highly rewarding market
