Sales Manager leading and developing a regional sales team for KWS SAAT SE & Co KGaA in the agricultural industry. Driving customer-oriented strategies and managing regional budget planning.
Responsibilities
Lead, develop and motivate a high-performing sales team through training and coaching
Ensure effective communication between internal and external stakeholders
Responsible for regional budget planning and sustainable market strategies
Develop and implement regional variety and sales strategies, including volume and revenue planning
Support and manage regional specialist dealers alongside our field sales team and coordinate dealer contracts
Handle dealer complaints professionally
Implement and enforce stewardship measures
Conduct market analyses to identify trends and strengthen competitiveness
Support the team and represent KWS at regional events in close coordination with Marketing and Product Management
Requirements
Degree in Agricultural Sciences, Business Administration or a related field
Solid knowledge of German agriculture and several years of sales and team leadership experience—ideally in the agricultural sector
Expertise in budget planning, complaint management and sales models
Results-oriented working style, experience in change management, and a high degree of empathy and leadership ability
Strong organizational and communication skills combined with strategic thinking, analytical capability and negotiation skills
Customer focus and stakeholder management are important to you
Willingness to travel within the region for business trips within Germany (>50%)
Fluent German is required; English skills are an advantage
