About the role

  • Sales Engineer focusing on Tyco security solutions in Malaysia. Managing projects, key accounts, and achieving sales targets through consultative and technical selling.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve assigned annual sales revenue and gross margin targets.
  • Identify, qualify and develop new business opportunities in targeted verticals.
  • Manage and grow relationships with consultants, system integrators, contractors, developers and end users.
  • Prepare technical proposals, system designs, tenders and quotations.
  • Conduct product presentations and solution demonstrations to customers.
  • Ensure proposed solutions comply with tender specifications and technical requirements.
  • Negotiate commercial terms and secure contracts in line with company policies.
  • Maintain strong pipeline management and provide accurate sales forecasting.
  • Monitor market trends, competitor activities and pricing strategies.
  • Support project execution teams during handover and participate in key client meetings when required.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in engineering (Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics or equivalent).
  • Minimum 2–5 years of sales experience in electronic security systems (CCTV, Access Control, Intrusion, Integrated Security Solutions)
  • Proven track record in project sales and achieving sales targets.
  • Strong understanding of tender processes and project-based selling.
  • Good technical knowledge of security system design.
  • Strong communication, presentation and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
