About the role

  • Business Development Manager focusing on securing new customers in the automotive parts aftermarket with responsibility for territory sales growth and collaboration with Distributor teams.

Responsibilities

  • Secure profitable incremental unit growth by identifying, qualifying, documenting, and partnering with high quality new customers
  • Collaborate with assigned Distributor teams to meet established unit sales objectives
  • Mentor local sales representatives and share best practices
  • Generate unit volume through individual sales efforts using proven targeted growth strategies
  • Create a territory sales plan that includes ideal targets
  • Establish credibility by using industry insights and product knowledge
  • Develop and professionally communicate presentations and solution proposals
  • Maintain and update an accurate Pipeline through Salesforce.com
  • Attend and contribute to sales team meetings

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree (or equivalent)
  • 4+ years B2B/Commercial sales experience required
  • Top performer, award winner
  • Outstanding verbal communication and interpersonal skills
  • Strong customer service and business development skills
  • Ability to coordinate and prioritize multiple opportunities
  • Salesforce.com or other CRM experience
  • Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Acceptable driving record
