HR Business Partner aligning HR strategies with business goals at Instructure. Advising on talent management, employee relations, and workforce planning.
Responsibilities
Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and translate them into HR strategies.
Advise on organizational design, workforce planning, and change initiatives.
Use data and insights to inform decision-making and identify workforce trends.
Support performance management, goal setting, and development planning.
Partner on succession planning and leadership development.
Identify capability gaps and recommend development solutions.
Coach managers on performance management, workplace concerns, and policy interpretation.
Support or conduct investigations and ensure fair, consistent outcomes.
Promote a positive, compliant, and respectful work environment.
Partner on compensation decisions, promotions, and role alignment.
Support merit planning, market reviews, and internal equity analysis.
Contribute to headcount planning and budget alignment.
Support restructures, business transformations, and change management efforts.
Drive engagement and culture initiatives.
Facilitate communication and adoption of organizational changes.
Ensure compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Partner with HR Centers of Excellence to deliver integrated solutions.
Promote consistent application of HR programs and practices.
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field (Master’s preferred).
Typically 5-8+ years of progressive HR experience, including strategic HR partnership.
Strong knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
Experience advising leaders and managing complex employee relations matters.
