About the role

  • Director of Sales Oversight managing Medicare Sales compliance at Healthfirst. Leading a team to ensure alignment with regulatory requirements and improve process efficiency.

Responsibilities

  • Directs sales oversight across Healthfirst’s Growth team
  • Serves as a liaison with internal partners for compliance and quality matters
  • Supports Growth Leaders in developing strategic priorities and initiatives
  • Assesses existing activities and identifies gaps
  • Collaborates with Legal, Regulatory, and Compliance partners
  • Leads and motivates staff to execute compliance strategies
  • Develops and conducts risk assessments for Sales and Retention policies
  • Acts as subject matter expert on compliance matters
  • Develops monitoring and testing plans for Medicare Sales channels
  • Monitors internal and external processes for compliance
  • Communicates department goals and adjusts plans as needed
  • Evaluates and develops strategic plans for Healthfirst’s Growth business
  • Ensures sales practices comply with NY state and federal requirements
  • Leverages performance improvement metrics to lead the department
  • Builds, manages, and improves the Sales Oversight team
  • Prepares reports and communicates compliance status to partners

Requirements

  • BA/BS from an accredited institution
  • leadership experience in Compliance
  • prior knowledge and experience with healthcare compliance programs
  • knowledge of Compliance Program regulatory requirements
  • experience managing professional staff and leading teams
  • competent in compliance auditing and investigations
  • able to interact effectively with all levels of management
  • ability to operate in a matrix-based organization
  • experience managing a team in a fast-paced environment
  • experience preparing and delivering information to multiple types of audiences
  • experience with process improvement initiatives
  • experience in supporting audits and regulatory requirements
  • experience communicating and influencing impact and progress to senior leadership
  • experience developing strategy and processes for a department or function
  • experience in project management and process improvement
