Human Resources Assistant supporting employee lifecycle and HR operations at Global Supply Chain Finance Ltd in Zug, Switzerland. Contributing to recruitment, payroll, and compliance processes within a hybrid work model.
Responsibilities
Support the full employee lifecycle: onboarding, offboarding, master data updates
Prepare employment contracts, amendments, reference letters, and certificates
Maintain and update personnel files and HR systems (BambooHR)
Handle social insurance topics and communication with public authorities
Support recruitment activities: post job ads and coordinate interviews
Support payroll processing for Swiss and German employees, including data preparation, monthly checks, and coordination with an external payroll provider
Support absence, vacation, and time‑tracking processes
Assist with local audits
Contribute to HR projects and continuous improvement activities
Serve as backup for the Office Manager during absences (office coordination, facility‑related requests, daily operational support)
Ad hoc activities as required
Requirements
Commercial apprenticeship (KV EFZ) or equivalent education
HR‑related further education (such as HR Assistant)
1-2 years of HR experience
Understanding of Swiss HR processes and social security basics
Practical, solution‑oriented mindset with eagerness to learn
A keen eye for detail
Excellent communication skills in English and German (written, reading, and spoken)
Proficiency in MS Office Outlook/Excel/Word/PowerPoint
A strong team player with a collaborative mindset
High level of integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality
