HR Generalist managing employee relations, compliance, and onboarding in Mongolia. Leading HR operations under the supervision of the Area HR Operations Manager.
Responsibilities
Under the direction of the Area HR Operations Manager, liaise with employees across the area (Mongolia and other countries) and make necessary adjustments to resolve HR‑related matters.
Administer HR policies and support/lead compliance efforts with local employment laws and regulations.
Prepare, submit, and maintain documents required by government agencies.
Process employee job record updates (promotions, position updates, etc.).
Support talent acquisition and onboarding activities, including job postings, applicant screening, interviews, onboarding worthiness checks, preparing offer letters, provisioning requests, and related tasks.
Facilitate compensation/benefits‑related activities such as compensation coaching, promotions, and in‑line salary adjustments.
Create and deliver workforce communications for the area.
Support workforce relations activities, including basic investigations and dispute resolution.
Perform other essential duties as assigned
Requirements
Hold a current temple recommend (required)
6 years of relevant experience or a combination of experience and progress toward/completion of a relevant bachelor’s degree or industry-recognized certification.
Solid working knowledge of HR policies, procedures, and best practices with a compliance mindset.
Ability to effectively use HR systems and other technology tools.
Strong written and verbal communication skills in both English and Mongolian.
Ability to deliver excellent customer service using well-developed interpersonal skills.
Strong collaboration skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism.
