About the role

  • HR Generalist managing the entire Employee Lifecycle from Recruiting to Offboarding at Matera GmbH. Supporting HR processes and being the point of contact for employees and management.

Responsibilities

  • You will manage the entire employee lifecycle – from recruiting and onboarding to offboarding
  • You will develop and optimize HR processes and help establish core HR foundations such as onboarding materials and the employee handbook
  • You will maintain our HRIS (Lucca) and ensure that all employee data is up to date and accurate
  • You will take responsibility for contract management and prepare payroll documentation
  • You will be the point of contact for employees and managers and work closely with our Team Lead HR, Cindy, our recruiter Steffen, and our working students in HR.

Requirements

  • Confident use of HR systems (e.g., Lucca)
  • Good knowledge of labor law, social insurance, and payroll tax regulations
  • Initial experience with payroll topics
  • Enjoy building HR structures in a growing company
  • Native-level German (C2) and fluent English
