About the role

  • Software Relationship Manager responsible for prospecting and closing sales of Global Payments solutions to small and mid-sized businesses. Reporting to District Manager and collaborating with business owners to drive revenue growth.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for prospecting and running Global Payments Point of Sale presentations both in person and over the phone to small and mid-sized merchants, restaurateurs, and businesses to ultimately close deals within a fast sales cycle.
  • As a Software Relationship Manager (SRM) you will report to a District Manager and receive coaching from a Director.
  • Activities include explaining our value proposition and demonstrating our cloud based Point of Sale solution, upselling current clients on other Global Payments products and services, and maintaining regular communication with the Point of Sale District Manager.
  • You will work closely with your local District Manager to set appointments with business owners in person via your network and referral partnerships that you build.

Requirements

  • 18 years of age or older
  • This position requires regular driving to visit client sites, therefore a valid drivers license is necessary
  • Live in area relative to job posting location
  • Ability to be in the field, a minimum of 75% of the time
  • High school diploma/GED
  • At least two years of relevant experience
