About the role

  • Sales Associate making high volume outbound sales calls for Global Industrial. Developing customer relationships and managing sales pipelines to meet quotas in a competitive market.

Responsibilities

  • Make a high volume (80+) of outbound sales calls to a variety of existing and potential customers
  • Minimum of three hours of outbound talk time per day
  • 5 pipeline entries per day
  • Meet your period quota
  • Effectively present ALL appropriate Global products and services to your customers
  • Build an effective pipeline to support meeting your quota objective
  • Drive 30% of the businesses total revenue on-line
  • Develop relationships with unassigned accounts that have multiple purchases with Global
  • Further develop current low volume customers
  • Identify new accounts not doing business with Global
  • Create brand awareness of the Global value proposition
  • Effectively develop and manage your sales plan by setting daily/weekly/monthly goals and objectives, prioritizing tasks, utilizing your time effectively and efficiently, and taking full advantage of available resources
  • Utilize sales planning tools and the pipeline management process to obtain business objectives and goals
  • Drive web adaption
  • Build trust and credibility with clients
  • Assist your customer with finding solutions that will help them achieve their goals and added value
  • Provide support, information, and guidance by researching and recommending new profit and service improvements
  • Position yourself for new opportunities through networking and identify cross selling and up selling opportunities
  • Understanding of Global Equipment Company industry and products
  • Stay abreast of industry trends
  • Utilize internal resources to gather information regarding new product offerings
  • Effective verbal communication skills, e.g. speaking clearly, listening attentively, building rapport
  • Ability to write clearly and succinctly in a variety of communication settings, e.g. business letters and emails
  • Ability to effectively persuade by asking intelligent business questions to determine customer needs

Requirements

  • High school or equivalent
  • 1–3 years of inside sales or customer-facing experience preferred
  • Experience in a high‑volume outbound calling environment a plus
  • Strong computer skills, including CRM systems and sales tools
  • Ability to meet daily activity metrics and sales goals
  • Relationship building & customer engagement
  • Strong verbal and written communication
  • Proven ability to work independently while contributing to team success
