About the role

  • HR Manager overseeing recruiting and personnel management for G&L in Köln. Engaging in HR projects and optimizing HR processes within a collaborative team.

Responsibilities

  • You are responsible for recruiting and applicant management
  • You handle operational personnel management for G&L, including contract, time, workload and data management
  • You prepare payroll and the accounting of non-cash benefits, review the work of our tax advisor and produce reports for controlling
  • You develop and optimize HR processes and projects so that work at G&L is enjoyable and effective
  • You lead HR projects throughout the year together with a working student (health management, engagement surveys, feedforward cycles, employer branding, etc.)
  • Together with the coaches, you ensure the continuous qualification of our team
  • You coordinate all labor-law matters with the help of our legal advisors
  • You act as a sparring partner for management on all personnel-related topics

Requirements

  • A completed degree in business administration, economics or business psychology with a focus on HR is desirable and at least three years of professional experience
  • You are characterized by empathy, enjoyment in working with people and a strong service orientation
  • You enjoy working independently, like to look beyond your immediate tasks and are highly responsible and reliable
  • You have a passion for recruiting, strong analytical skills and solid knowledge in planning and reporting
  • You should speak German and be fluent in English
  • Interest in video technology, IT and software development is an advantage
