About the role

  • HR Business Partner at Babcock influencing people strategy and driving performance within a key marine engineering programme in the UK. Collaborating with leaders to deliver HR initiatives and organizational change.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with leaders to understand business priorities and provide proactive, expert HR advice.
  • Support the delivery of the Marine People Plan and wider HR initiatives that drive engagement and performance.
  • Collaborate with Centres of Expertise and the People Centre to implement high‑quality HR solutions.
  • Provide guidance on employee relations, organisational development and change management.
  • Enable organisational change projects and ensure alignment with strategic objectives.

Requirements

  • Experience in an HR Business Partner or senior advisory role within a complex, fast‑paced organisation.
  • Strong knowledge of core HR disciplines including employee relations, organisational development and change management.
  • Excellent stakeholder‑management and influencing skills, with the ability to build credibility quickly.
  • A collaborative, solution‑focused mindset with strong planning and delivery capability.
  • Ability to interpret HR data and translate insights into value‑adding action.
  • CIPD Level 5 or equivalent experience.
  • The successful candidate must be a sole UK National who is able to achieve and maintain Security Check (SC) security clearance for this role.
