About the role

  • Regional Sales Manager defining sales strategy for Southern region at GE Vernova. Focused on client relationships and driving new business in Grid Automation.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies tailored to the specific needs of regional customers to promote the company's products and services.
  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with key regional customers, providing ongoing commercial and technical follow-up to ensure their satisfaction.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for customers in your region, offering advice and customized solutions.
  • Work closely with the Sales Director to design and implement effective commercial strategies.
  • Communicate complex commercial and technical information clearly and concisely to customers and internal stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with internal teams (product development, marketing, etc.) to convey customer needs and regional market trends.
  • Monitor competitors and local market developments to adjust sales strategies accordingly.

Requirements

  • Proven sales experience, preferably with technical products or services and ideally in the field of industrial automation.
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong results orientation and initiative.
  • Master's degree (general/technical engineering degree or business school) or significant experience of 3 to 5 years in prospecting and business development, ideally in our industry.
  • Proficiency in English (read, written, spoken).
