About the role

  • Account Executive responsible for developing Public Sector portfolio across ministries in France. Engaging with public institutions and ensuring member satisfaction through strategic account management.

Responsibilities

  • Define strategic targets within the public sector
  • Prepare for and meet with prospects ahead of RFPs (requests for proposals)
  • Respond to relevant RFPs — including substantial written work and project management
  • Prepare for and participate in oral presentations
  • After a win, oversee Alan's deployment in collaboration with the Key Account Manager and ensure high satisfaction for administrators and members
  • Help build the appropriate Salesforce setup to track sales activity for the public sector and maintain strong data hygiene across the team
  • Support the team in standardizing and industrializing our RFP response process to increase efficiency and win rates
  • Provide market insights and competitive intelligence to inform Alan's public sector strategy by consolidating RFP debriefs, client expectations, and our competitive differentiators
  • Collaborate with Product and Ops teams to ensure Alan's offerings remain competitive and tailored to FPT (territorial public service) and FPH (public hospital service) needs
  • Share information, debriefs, and lessons learned with the Public Sector team to drive collective improvement
  • Deliver a seamless journey that reflects Alan's customer-first approach

Requirements

  • Proven ability to conduct C-level discussions and influence key decision-makers, with a high degree of formality
  • Full professional proficiency in French (C2 or equivalent), including in formal contexts; advanced level of English
  • Entrepreneurial mindset and comfort with ambiguity in a fast-paced, intense environment
  • Collaborative approach, able to work effectively across multiple teams and communities
  • Strong interest in understanding the French public sector structure, procurement processes, and key stakeholders
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to build and maintain trust with diverse stakeholders
  • Outstanding project management skills with meticulous attention to detail
  • Adaptability and resilience to navigate the complexities of long public sector sales cycles
  • Prior experience and a proven track record of closing large, complex deals with long sales cycles is a strong plus; prior experience responding to RFPs is also a clear advantage
