About the role

  • Supporting personal development at Fraunhofer IISB by managing training administration and event organization. Engaging in various HR tasks and contributing to learning culture.

Responsibilities

  • You support our Learning & Development team with organizational and administrative tasks.
  • With your operational support and proactive ideas, you make a significant contribution to establishing Learning & Development at Fraunhofer IISB.
  • Your daily tasks include: Seminar management: You coordinate and organize training activities (e.g., preparation and follow-up of events: participant management, preparation of materials, evaluations, etc.).
  • Intranet: You create posts to raise awareness of offerings, news, and processes, increasing the visibility of Learning & Development.
  • Event management: You are an important part of the event organization team (e.g., onboarding events).
  • Research: You produce short “Knowledge Snacks” on Learning & Development topics to help foster a learning culture within HR.
  • Knowledge management and process optimization: You contribute critical thinking to improve our processes and prepare practical guidance materials.
  • Other HR topics: Occasionally you support us beyond Learning & Development in HR administration, HR marketing, and recruiting.

Requirements

  • You are enrolled in a degree program in economics, social sciences, or the humanities, preferably with a focus on HR, adult education, or psychology.
  • You have very good knowledge of standard MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Teams, Forms) and an interest in process optimization through digital solutions.
  • You have very good German and good English language skills.
  • You are committed, eager to learn, and contribute your own ideas.
  • You work independently and in a structured way and complete tasks reliably and responsibly.
  • Desirable: prior experience in Learning & Development.
  • Willingness to support events (e.g., trade fairs).
