About the role

  • Senior Sales Executive within the Trading Solution team helping financial customers advance technology solutions. Facilitating sales processes and building relationships in Capital Markets.

Responsibilities

  • Helping organize and steer marketing campaigns
  • Direct cold calling and lead generation
  • Expanding contacts within existing accounts plus establishing meaningful contacts amongst new prospects
  • Acquiring new clients through prospecting, networking and cold calling to ensure sales quotas are achieved
  • Developing a sound sales pipeline of potential sales opportunities in assigned territory and accounts
  • Developing and executing strategic sales plans for each major opportunity
  • Participating in sales calls and meetings to determine appropriate resources or representation by other FIS departments to win and close the deal
  • Building and developing relationships to work with key client and new prospects at all relevant levels
  • Reflecting input activity within and maintaining accurate and comprehensive sales database (Dynamics)
  • Maintaining awareness of market and industry trends
  • Developing the ability to cross/up-sell across a full solution suite and associated delivery models (ASP/IMS/On-Premise)

Requirements

  • Prior experience in technology solutions selling into financial services in the region
  • Industry knowledge within Capital Markets is essential
  • Experience with Trading solutions covering FX, Commodities and Energy
  • Ability to maintain an outbound mentality and self-generate leads
  • Able to effectively manage complex multi-stakeholder sales processes
