Foster Program Recruitment and Retention Specialist developing marketing plans and conducting evaluations for foster care in Las Vegas. Collaborating with foster families and conducting training sessions in a supportive environment.
Responsibilities
Develop and implement marketing and recruitment plans
Perform Quality Assurance audits on initial licensing documentation
Conduct home evaluation visits of potential Foster Care providers
Serve as the trainer by facilitating and conducting all required agency, state and county trainings for prospective and licensed foster parents as well as direct-care staff
Act as liaison to Licensing Authorities by performing initial licensing and clearance practices and renewal for Eagle Quest staff and foster families while adhering to all pertinent standard operating procedures, rules, personnel policies and procedures of said Licensing Authorities; related accreditation and licensure standards; and federal, state, and local rules, statutes, regulations, and contractual terms.
Conduct on-site home visits as required to assure compliance with licensure and safety standards; to complete Quality Assurance home visits; or to investigate alleged grievances, complaints, and reports of unsafe, harmful, or illegal child care
Prepare written reports and investigation summaries; compile and submit weekly accountability reports; compile and submit an accounting of foster parent and client grievances and complaints to Legislative Counsel Bureau representative(s)
Maintain accurate and up-to-date information about Eagle Quest homes and foster care policies and procedures, as well as keeping orderly and up-to-date employee/personnel files
Requirements
Bachelor's degree from an accredited university
One year administrative experience
One year of marketing experience
Reliable private vehicle, Nevada driver's license, and current proof of auto insurance
Pass FBI and Interstate fingerprint background checks at candidate's expense (reimbursable after employed)
Proficient with computers and Microsoft Office applications
Excellent communication and organizational skills
