About the role

  • Sales Representative responsible for maximizing sales and relationships within Quebec. Focused on expanding territory and meeting strategic objectives in the paper and packaging industry.

Responsibilities

  • Maximize sales, profitability, growth and market penetration in Quebec, mostly in the Montreal area
  • Establish, develop and maintain business relationships with existing customers or prospects
  • Meet or exceed strategic objectives with professionalism while adhering to Domtar’s values
  • Expand existing territory by opening new accounts or developing inactive accounts
  • Develop and manage an action plan using the “SMART” strategy
  • Prepare and submit activity and results reports
  • Analyze current product offering and value-added products for existing customers
  • Resolve issues following customer complaints and coordinate with Customer Service, Marketing, and other departments

Requirements

  • University degree or equivalent
  • 3 to 5 years of sales experience
  • Effective communication, conflict resolution and time management skills
  • Dedicated individual looking to develop through in-depth training, and to grow and develop within the company
  • Team player, customer-oriented, problem-solving skills, business acumen
  • Professionalism, leadership, change management and influencing skills
  • Bilingualism, both written and spoken
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite programs
