About the role

  • Senior People Operations Specialist optimizing employee lifecycle processes for Dext, a productivity tool for accountants in Bulgaria.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the end-to-end employee lifecycle, ensuring accurate, compliant, and consistent execution of all processes
  • Deliver employment documentation (contracts, annexes, letters) in line with Bulgarian labour legislation (LC)
  • Ensure accuracy and integrity of employee data across HR systems (e.g. Hibob)
  • Coordinate onboarding to ensure smooth and consistent execution for new hires
  • Deliver and continuously improve induction practices from an operational perspective
  • Provide operational HR support on employee lifecycle matters, working closely with the People Partner Lead to ensure consistent process delivery
  • Ensure alignment with Bulgarian labour law, statutory requirements, and internal policies
  • Coordinate employment documentation, including contract changes and required notifications
  • Coordinate with accountants to support accurate payroll delivery, including variable inputs, absence data, and validation
  • Oversee benefits administration and employee communication
  • Coordinate leave and absence processes, including annual leave, sick leave, and statutory entitlements
  • Ensure accurate tracking, documentation, and system updates in line with local requirements
  • Coordinate employee exits, ensuring compliant processes, complete documentation, and system accuracy
  • Maintain consistency and completeness of employee records throughout the lifecycle
  • Drive improvements across People Operations processes, systems, and workflows
  • Deliver and support HR initiatives through effective operational execution
  • Coordinate engagement activities and internal People programmes from an operational perspective

Requirements

  • Proven experience in People Operations / HR Operations
  • Strong knowledge of Bulgarian employment legislation and practices
  • Experience across the employee lifecycle, including payroll coordination and employee administration
  • Familiarity with HR systems (e.g. Hibob or similar)
  • Strong organisational and prioritisation skills
  • Clear and effective communication skills
  • High level of discretion when handling sensitive information
  • Strong attention to detail and process accuracy
  • Proactive and solution-oriented approach
