Responsibilities
Identify and secure solar opportunities, including modules, BOS, and peripheral equipment.
Serve as the go-to product expert for solar equipment.
Collaborate with materials and operations teams on inventory strategies.
Build strong partnerships with manufacturers and reps to become their preferred channel partner.
Represent Viking Electric at Sonepar Solar/Renewable Energy events and align with broader initiatives.
Develop training materials to help our sales team identify solar opportunities.
Perform all duties professionally and ethically in line with company policies.
Requirements
1–2 years in sales and/or analysis
Previous experience in solar or renewable energy
High School Diploma/GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred
Strong sales aptitude and negotiation skills
Proficient in MS Office (especially Excel)
Excellent communication skills (written and verbal)
Ability to analyze data and maintain attention to detail
Valid driver’s license
Ability to travel up to 20%
