About the role

  • Nuclear Operations Manager overseeing nuclear plant operations and project execution at Westinghouse. Leading a global team in testing and commissioning procedures for AP1000 and AP300 fleets.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the team developing testing and commissioning procedures for the new fleet of AP1000, AP300 and eVinci.
  • Oversee the planning, preparation and execution of outage services performed by our team worldwide.
  • Oversee the engineering design, manufacturing and testing activities of nuclear incore instrumentation and a variety of outage testing tools.
  • This includes hardware, I&C and software development activities, working with suppliers, other Westinghouse partners and customers
  • Oversee the implementation of related projects, ensuring you achieve safety, quality, schedule and cost goals.
  • Respond to emergent issues.
  • Manage resources and project assignments to meet the workload demand.
  • Identify staffing needs and participate to recruitment efforts.
  • Facilitate the smooth onboarding and integration of new team members.
  • Lead the professional development of team members, including defining goals, monitoring of assigned tasks, providing real-time feedback and development, and performance evaluations.
  • Assign appropriate training curricula to team members and ensure completion.
  • Improve training programs.
  • Identify business opportunities and collaborate team members to secure them.
  • Influence customers and industry leaders promote Westinghouse products and services.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in engineering
  • We prefer Senior Reactor Operators licensed or qualified as Senior Reactor Operators.
  • AP1000 commissioning experience is preferred.
