About the role

  • Benefits Specialist II executing day-to-day administration of employee benefits programs at Community Partners. Collaborating with HR leadership and managing benefits for 400 eligible employees in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage all employee enrollments, disenrollment's, and mid-year changes into and out of benefits
  • Ensure all enrollments, disenrollment's, and changes are reflected correctly to all vendors and carriers.
  • Collaborate with payroll to ensure employee status changes and deductions have taken effect.
  • Facilitate company-wide open enrollment for 400+ benefits-eligible employees
  • Collaborate with departmental staff to provide clear information for employees about their COBRA rights.
  • Run, analyze, and submit reports as required by state agencies and vendors.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resource management or related field
  • Five years of related benefits or employee benefits administration experience
  • Familiarity with payroll and benefits software systems
  • Excellent proficiency with Excel spreadsheets including V Lookup
  • Experience in a multi-state organization and/or complex nonprofit organization
  • Experience with HRIS.
