Inside Sales Representative handling market and customer relations for CMA CGM. Collaborating on sales strategies and managing customer data in CRM environment.
Responsibilities
Participation in implementing the commercial action plan
Planning and conducting telephone customer contacts according to sales segmentation
Active promotion of CMA CGM Group services, including non‑maritime products (e.g., e‑commerce, VAS, intermodal, CEVA)
Identification of market and growth potentials and expansion of market share and revenues
Maintenance and updating of customer and sales data in the CRM (leads, opportunities, contacts)
Creation of customer profiles and account strategies within the CRM environment
Achievement of quantitative and qualitative sales targets (e.g., sales visits / phone calls, analytics)
Forwarding price and service inquiries to Sales Support or Customer Care
Management of defined customer segments (e.g., BCO / NVO) and specialization by cargo types (dry, reefer, OOG, break bulk)
Responsibility for the end‑to‑end customer journey (pre‑ and after‑sales)
Active expansion of value‑added services and cross‑selling
Promotion of customer digitization, especially for smaller customers
Execution of direct marketing activities via digital sales channels
Requirements
Completed training in the shipping or logistics sector or a university degree with a focus on logistics, supply chain, or transport management
At least 2 years of professional experience in liner shipping
Very good German and English skills
Experience in sales with direct customer contact
Strong communication and relationship‑building skills
Professional appearance, positive attitude, and resilience
Excellent problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution skills
Structured, independent, and efficient working style
Understanding of the CMA CGM Group’s organizational structures, processes, and tools
Proficiency with MS Office
Analytical thinking and data‑driven decision‑making ability
