About the role

  • Relationship Manager driving customer retention and sales growth in sustainability at CDP, managing client relationships across Europe and developing new opportunities.

Responsibilities

  • Build and maintain strong relationships to ensure customer retention.
  • Identify cross-selling opportunities and products of interest for existing customers.
  • Develop greenfield opportunities.
  • Renewals negotiations: This includes license and contract negotiations, understanding core use cases of CDP data.
  • Stay informed about market trends, competitive landscape, and client feedback.
  • Maintain a disciplined approach to pipeline management and forecasting.
  • Track and report on business development activities, including sales performance, pipeline status, and key metrics.
  • Represent CDP at relevant industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Continuously seek opportunities to improve business development processes and strategies.

Requirements

  • Demonstrable experience in renewals and customer retention, sales, or a related field, preferably within the sustainability sector.
  • Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving business growth.
  • Customer-centric mindset. Ability to anticipate needs of customers and identify opportunities.
  • Strong ability to build and maintain relationships with clients and partners.
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Experience in selling ideally to financial or non-financial corporates, with an understanding of customers' internal teams responsible for purchase decisions.
  • Relevant degree qualification or equivalent experience.
  • Fluent in one or more local languages.
