About the role

  • Senior Account Manager developing and growing enterprise accounts for RIEDEL Networks. Identifying opportunities and building long-term relationships with stakeholders in telecommunications.

Responsibilities

  • You stabilize and further develop existing revenue potentials and ensure sustainable growth across our customer portfolio
  • You identify up- and cross-selling opportunities and place appropriate solutions with existing enterprise customers
  • You build trusted, long-term relationships with decision-makers and position yourself as a strategic point of contact
  • You identify potential business customers from the upper mid-market with an international focus and establish initial contacts via appropriate channels — directly or in cooperation with our partners
  • You support the entire sales process: from proposal development and follow-up through to successful order fulfilment

Requirements

  • University degree (e.g., MBA) or commercial/business training, or an equivalent qualification
  • At least five years of experience managing existing accounts and acquiring new business in the telecommunications or IT security sector
  • Solid knowledge of telecommunications solutions, ideally with a focus on WAN services
  • Strong commercial mindset, high customer orientation and a goal- and results-driven approach to work
  • Enjoyment of presenting, phone outreach and in-person meetings on site
  • High initiative and creativity, together with strong negotiation and presentation skills
  • Very good German language skills and good written and spoken English
