About the role

  • HR Manager for compensation systems in a family-run chemical industry company. Responsible for implementing performance management and compensation strategies with international focus.

Responsibilities

  • Design and implementation of a company-wide performance management system
  • Development of a variable compensation system for all hierarchy levels, including production
  • Introduction of a software-supported target/goal agreement system
  • Definition of KPIs and standards for performance-related pay
  • Conducting compensation benchmarks and market analyses
  • Advising and training managers and employees
  • Active role as a sparring partner for executive management, the CFO and Head of HR
  • Ensuring compliance with labor and social security law
  • Leading change management and promoting acceptance across the organization
  • Supporting future HR digitalization projects (e.g., electronic personnel file)

Requirements

  • Completed degree with a focus on HR, business administration (BWL) or a comparable qualification
  • Several years of professional experience in Compensation & Benefits, Performance Management or Organizational Development
  • Experience implementing compensation systems in an industrial environment
  • Knowledge of collective bargaining law and/or payroll is an advantage
  • Change management and project leadership skills
  • Strong communication skills, assertiveness and presence when interacting with managers
  • Excellent German and good English skills
