About the role

  • National Key Account Manager overseeing strategic client and portfolio management for Pabst & Richarz. Engaging with national and international retailers while driving business growth.

Responsibilities

  • Strategic customer and portfolio management
  • Direct national and international management of retailers and distributors
  • Conduct market and competitive analyses and derive actionable recommendations
  • Identify and develop new sales opportunities and lead annual business reviews and customer negotiations
  • Responsible for volume, price and commercial terms planning, including monthly forecasting
  • Track and monitor budget and commercial terms agreements and prepare terms overviews
  • Full accountability for results across customer and country portfolios as well as ownership of the end-to-end tender process
  • Customer communication with retail purchasing (projects, pricing, contracts)

Requirements

  • Degree in Business Administration or comparable qualification; further training as a GS1 Category Manager is an advantage
  • Several years of sales experience in an FMCG company (ideally in the beverage sector)
  • Experience conducting sales negotiations and annual business reviews
  • Persuasiveness, assertiveness and strong negotiation skills
  • Willingness to travel, high level of commitment and resilience
  • Strong sales and customer orientation and self-initiative
  • Fluent English, spoken and written
  • Knowledge of the German retail landscape and structures in Germany and Europe, as well as experience in the distribution of branded products, private labels and secondary brands
