Responsibilities
Strategic customer and portfolio management
Direct national and international management of retailers and distributors
Conduct market and competitive analyses and derive actionable recommendations
Identify and develop new sales opportunities and lead annual business reviews and customer negotiations
Responsible for volume, price and commercial terms planning, including monthly forecasting
Track and monitor budget and commercial terms agreements and prepare terms overviews
Full accountability for results across customer and country portfolios as well as ownership of the end-to-end tender process
Customer communication with retail purchasing (projects, pricing, contracts)
Requirements
Degree in Business Administration or comparable qualification; further training as a GS1 Category Manager is an advantage
Several years of sales experience in an FMCG company (ideally in the beverage sector)
Experience conducting sales negotiations and annual business reviews
Persuasiveness, assertiveness and strong negotiation skills
Willingness to travel, high level of commitment and resilience
Strong sales and customer orientation and self-initiative
Fluent English, spoken and written
Knowledge of the German retail landscape and structures in Germany and Europe, as well as experience in the distribution of branded products, private labels and secondary brands
