About the role

  • Payroll Manager SAP overseeing payroll accounting processes in a hybrid environment at Argus Search. Involvement in system transformation projects and regulatory compliance tasks.

Responsibilities

  • Independently perform regularly occurring payroll-related processes, including the maintenance and management of relevant personnel and compensation data
  • Actively participate in a company-wide transformation project to migrate payroll-relevant processes to an SAP-based system landscape, including providing functional support during the transition and ensuring operational handover
  • Address subject-matter questions in the context of compensation, payroll and related legal frameworks, and coordinate with internal and external stakeholders
  • Prepare, review and provide payroll-related reports, records and documentation
  • Ensure proper maintenance, updating and management of payroll-related files and records
  • Support the execution of structured onboarding and offboarding processes with payroll-related impact
  • Contribute to special projects and support analytical and control-related tasks within the administrative environment

Requirements

  • Completed commercial or administration-related vocational training with relevant specialization, or an equivalent qualification
  • Several years of practical experience in payroll-related tasks and a solid understanding of the underlying processes
  • Confident use of SAP, common Office applications and other supporting IT systems
  • Advanced knowledge of compensation-related topics and familiarity with the applicable legal and regulatory frameworks
  • Structured, independent and meticulous working style combined with a high degree of reliability
  • Team player with reliability and a strong sense of responsibility
  • Business-fluent German in spoken and written form; English skills are an advantage
