About the role

  • HR Graduate opportunity in Amey's Complex Facilities team, focusing on employee relations and business growth. Engaging with stakeholders and contributing to the People Plan while ensuring operational needs are met.

Responsibilities

  • Support HR activity across employee relations, absence management, trade union engagement and core people processes.
  • Contribute to the delivery of the People Plan, including talent, organisational effectiveness, engagement and inclusion initiatives.
  • Build strong stakeholder‑management skills by attending meetings, supporting senior leaders and developing an understanding of operational and strategic business needs.
  • Support business‑growth activity, including tenders, data analysis, creating people‑content libraries, TUPE processes and mobilisation planning.

Requirements

  • You’ve completed a degree in any discipline ; we’re more interested in your mindset than your subject.
  • Available to join the programme in April 2026
  • A full UK Driving Licence.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite of products especially Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent communication skills – Written and oral
  • High level of motivation and initiative; self-starter
  • Excellent organisation skills and able to manage a broad portfolio of activities
  • Confident in engaging with and managing stakeholders
