About the role

  • Billing Administrator at AFD responsible for preparing invoices and handling billing discrepancies. Performs data entry, inventory processing, and maintains billing records in Edmonton office.

Responsibilities

  • Compile data, compute fees, and prepare invoices for billing purposes.
  • Process inventory receipts, inventory transfers, and reconciliations.
  • Compare invoices against purchase orders and shipping and receiving documents to verify receipt of items ordered.
  • Assist in the preparation of special invoices, such as consolidated invoices and contract-specific invoicing.
  • Create and customize Excel-formatted reports on customer usage and spending.
  • Investigate and resolve billing discrepancies.
  • Respond to phone, e-mail, and in-person inquiries from clients, business partners, and other parties.
  • Send out invoices to customers and/or submit via online submission portals.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma required.
  • Post-Secondary Diploma in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration preferred.
  • Experience: 3+ years’ experience in a Billing role.
