About the role

  • Manage employee benefits for clients as an Account Executive at Acrisure. Oversee policy quotes and client interactions for tailored solutions in a hybrid work environment.

Responsibilities

  • Manage a book of business, policy quotes and carrier liaison for assigned clients/groups.
  • Interact with new and existing clients to devise creative solutions for coverage and costs.
  • Negotiate product pricing, interview clients, and collect and analyze information.
  • Guide clients on compliance and regulatory policies and provide monthly claim reports.
  • Oversee wellness strategy and programs for clients and support incentives offered by carriers.
  • Review open enrollment processes and facilitate proper changes and financial reviews.
  • Support clients with renewal and insurance communication and provide webinar guidance.
  • Handle escalated client issues and partner with claims department when necessary.
  • Collaborate with the legal team on regulatory updates and communicate to clients.
  • Monitor census reports, complete underwriting questionnaires, and keep up with industry standards.
  • Develop relationships with producers and attend marketing strategy meetings for new business.
  • Manage RFPs, non-renewals, and cancellation requests to retain business where needed.
  • Establish multi-year strategic plans and present them to clients/groups.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or related field of study or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum 4+ years of large complex employee benefits experience within an insurance related industry with an emphasis on Self-Funded, Level Funded and Large Group Clients.
  • Current Insurance License in Health and Life for the state in which your agency office is located.
  • Ability to work toward professional designation.
  • Strong computer skills and a high level of comfort in a virtual work setting.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office products.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to work well on a team.
  • Strong organizational and multi-tasking abilities.
