About the role

  • Sr. People Business Partner leading HR initiatives across the APAC region. Trusted advisor to leaders driving exceptional employee experiences through HR operations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the full spectrum of people initiatives across the APAC region.
  • Serve as a trusted advisor to leaders while driving exceptional employee experiences through high-quality HR operations, employee relations, and people programs.
  • Partner closely with global People leaders, regional stakeholders, and cross-functional teams to execute people strategies that support a scaling, high-performance organization.
  • Balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution to ensure employees in APAC are supported, engaged, and set up for success.
  • Act as the point of contact for employee relations matters in APAC, providing guidance on policies, benefits, and workplace concerns.
  • Lead investigations on workplace concerns and ensure consistent, transparent, and timely resolutions.
  • Coach and advise managers on performance management, disciplinary actions, terminations, accommodations, and complex leave scenarios.
  • Foster high trust, credibility, and a positive employee experience through proactive communication and support.
  • Oversee the regional execution of HR operations, including onboarding, offboarding, benefits, compliance, payroll coordination, and data accuracy.
  • Identify opportunities to streamline and improve HR processes, documentation, policies, and internal communication.
  • Ensure HRIS data integrity, compliance with regional employment laws, and adherence to internal standards.
  • Partner with Finance on payroll inputs, compensation processes, and headcount reporting.
  • Partner with leaders to drive performance management, career development, succession planning, and capability-building initiatives.
  • Facilitate leadership coaching and provide guidance on team dynamics and manager effectiveness.
  • Support compensation cycles, promotions, and calibration processes, ensuring fairness and data-driven decisions.
  • Partner with Talent Acquisition to forecast hiring needs and ensure a seamless and inclusive recruiting and onboarding experience.
  • Champion our mission, values, and culture by driving values-based solutions.
  • Support or lead regional culture-building activities, events, and initiatives to foster connection and belonging.
  • Analyze employee feedback and engagement data, providing actionable recommendations for improvement.

Requirements

  • 8+ years of experience, including a blend of HR Business Partnering and HR Operations / Employee Relations in a high-growth or fast-paced environment.
  • Experience supporting APAC markets with an understanding of regional employment laws, cultural differences, and operational nuances.
  • Strong business acumen with the ability to influence leaders, build trust, and drive strategic initiatives.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate across different teams and time zones.
  • Experience managing HR systems, data analytics, and process automation.
  • Demonstrated ability to balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution,
  • A growth mindset, proactive problem-solving skills, and a passion for building high-performing teams and inclusive cultures.
