About the role

  • Technical Sales Specialist managing software installations and customer relationships in the healthcare sector. Collaborating with teams to enhance customer experiences and optimize software usage.

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the installation activities and management of software packages and cloud solution at healthcare institutes (HCI’s) and/or the client site.
  • Achieve alignment between customer needs, Abbott division requirements and external 3rd party customer service teams.
  • Continuously improve the customer experience and cost efficiency by identifying process obstacles, formulating proposals for improvement and (co-) implementing improvement processes and mitigation plans.
  • Bridging between sales and customer service activities; ensure customer service is continuously updated about feedback from the field enabling a loop of continuous improvement always resulting in an optimization of patient experience.
  • The data management specialist is responsible for the assigned region.
  • Responsible, together with account managers, for sales results and obtain targets, in the sector assigned.
  • Responsible to ensure the digital ecosystem is embedded in each Healthcare Institute (hospital, private practice,…).
  • Serve as a key liaison between Abbott Diabetes Care and multiple partners in electronic medical data exchange, including EMR systems and digital health solution providers.
  • Interface function between HCI, 3rd party customer support organization and marketing & sales functions.
  • Responsible for the installation of software packages on client site, making sure the new software matches the IT of the client.
  • Analyze local (technical) challenges and translate them into actionable insights for global evaluation.
  • Daily intervention on client’s site, both pro-actively as for maintenance and client support.
  • Assist the client in the local software configuration and formulate structural solutions as applicable.
  • Define the users and the necessary access rights, ensure full insight in software possibilities in the different locations.
  • Train the users on the use of the software, cloud solutions and Abbott branded products as applicable.
  • Act as the single point of contact for the users (Nurses, Doctors, IT, …) for all questions related to ADC software packages.
  • Ensure optimal use of the digital ecosystem to increase patient’s acquisition and retention.
  • Optimization and continuous enhancement of customer experience by: analyzing & translating available customer service data in collaboration with internal customer service team into tangible actions to the field and other functions; defining and implementing actions required for optimal use of ADC branded products by healthcare institutes and users.

Requirements

  • Bachelor/ Master’s degree in a technical, commercial, IT or engineering field or equivalent by experience.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English, both verbal & written
  • Proficient in MS Office Suits
  • Database management
  • Can combine both scientific/ technical and commercial competencies
  • Networking protocols & cloud solutions
  • 4+ year experience with high added Value Proposal/Solutions.
  • Experience in selling position in the healthcare industry is an asset.
  • Experience of interacting and building relationships directly with healthcare stakeholders, decision makers at senior level (e.g. Endocrinologist).
  • Experienced in strategic negotiations.
