About the role

  • Sales Specialist for Abbott's Point of Care diagnostics responsible for hospital sales in Florida. Collaborating to increase market share and drive sustainable growth, with up to 50% travel.

Responsibilities

  • Achieve sales targets through efficient and effective sales cycle and territory management
  • Maintain sales base while closing new business in both new and existing accounts
  • Navigate complex sales environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Develop and execute sales strategies and implement mitigation plans
  • Complete all administrative tasks accurately and promptly

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree
  • 4+ years of diagnostics, point of care (POC), lab, or capital equipment sales experience
  • Ability to travel up to 50% in assigned territory
  • Strong MS Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word) skills
  • Highly proficient at using Salesforce.com or similar CRM platform
  • Documented history of being a consistent sales overachiever
  • Established contacts at IDN's and Hospital Systems within assigned territory
  • Attended multiple sales training courses and active user of effective sales methodologies
