About the role

  • Sr. Sales Representative at Teleflex leading the promotion and sales of interventional cardiology products. Driving growth and developing high-value business opportunities within an assigned territory.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the strategic promotion and sales of designated products within an assigned territory
  • Identify and develop high-value business opportunities
  • Deliver advanced product demonstrations and clinical education
  • Ensure a superior customer experience
  • Implement the territory sales plan to meet established goals
  • Facilitate sales growth by conducting training for physicians, nurses, and technologists
  • Provide product technical support in an Operating Room and Interventional suite environment
  • Conduct strategic territory management and analysis
  • Develop key opinion leaders
  • Account for all territory expenses and materials
  • Review current literature for new developments within the healthcare field

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required; MBA a plus
  • Registered Technologist (RT) Certificate plus 5 years of direct sales experience in a cath lab setting accepted in lieu of degree
  • 3+ years sales experience with proven track record of exceeding sales goals, preferably in medical device sales
  • Medical experience in the interventional cardiology or radiology setting, strongly preferred
  • Strong clinical skills are a plus
  • Proven ability to interact with different specialties within a hospital
  • Self-directed, able to work independently and handle multiple projects concurrently
  • Strong problem solving/analytical skills and effective presentation skills
  • Excellent organizational skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office tools and computer technology including iPhone and iPad platforms
