About the role

  • Provide support for intercom and Video systems used in Broadcast and Events
  • Communicate with external and internal customers and contribute to the customer hotline as a first and second level Support
  • Support customers with remote online sessions, when needed
  • Reproduce issues in the lab
  • Visit customers on-site to perform debug and resolve problems, when needed
  • Participate in the 24/7 hotline
  • Work closely with your Support, Customer Success & Sales colleagues. As well as cross functional teams with Product Management and R&D

Requirements

  • Successfully completed (technical) university degree or equivalent trainee program in Information Technology, Electrical Engineering, or Video Engineering
  • 2+ years of proven experience in a relevant market field, ideally in the broadcast and entertainment Audio/Video sector
  • Expertise in broadcast or event technology
  • Knowledge of professional communication, digital audio, and IP video technology (AES3, AES67, SDI, ST 2110, ST 2022-6), as well as IP standards (TCP, UDP, IGMP, VLAN, PTP V-2, Multicast media traffic)
  • Familiarity with IT and networking infrastructures, with the ability to troubleshoot issues
  • Experience with fiber optic interconnected systems is a plus
  • Passion for customer communication and troubleshooting complex broadcast systems
  • Strong team player who fits into the culture of an international, medium-sized company
  • Cross-domain thinking with a collaborative mindset and excellent communication skills
  • Self-organized with a proactive approach to learning new technologies
  • Confident, sociable, and open personality with natural authority
  • High level of loyalty, reliability, and personal integrity
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English and German.
