About the role

  • Maintain network adequacy and support growth through administration of new provider contracting lifecycle
  • Support the development and implementation of market strategies via management of in-flight provider contracts data
  • Prepare, review, and execute provider contracts and Letters of Agreement
  • Oversee the “Request to Join” process and the “Join Our Network” mailbox to identify and assign new provider contracts
  • Collaborate with Provider Recruitment and other internal departments to address provider inquiries and collect contract data
  • Generate reports and summaries concerning provider contract data updates and network status
  • Coordinate system configuration, provider directory, and credentialing processes for provider setup in enterprise data systems
  • Maintain and verify provider contracting data in the network database and assist with ongoing contract updates
  • Provide administrative assistance, screening and researching incoming provider requests across communication platforms
  • Participate in process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows and improve the provider experience
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations
  • Report to the Senior Manager, Network Development
  • Remote/in-field position with travel up to 15%

Requirements

  • Associate's degree or 2+ years of relevant experience
  • Minimum 2+ years of experience in healthcare contract coordination, provider relations, or a similar role within a managed care environment
  • 1+ years of experience in Microsoft Office or Google Suites, with strong knowledge of Excel/Sheets
  • 1+ years of experience prioritizing and managing cross-functional projects
  • Must reside in one of the following states: Illinois, Michigan, Ohio or Wisconsin
  • Ability to travel up to 15%
  • (Bonus) 1+ years experience in provider relations, provider services or provider recruiting
  • (Bonus) Process improvement principles
  • (Bonus) Familiarity with provider directories or provider network data
