About the role

  • Partner with leaders across engineering, product, and go-to-market to align people strategy with business goals
  • Coach managers on leadership, performance, feedback, and team health
  • Lead and execute core HR programs (performance reviews, compensation cycles, engagement surveys, DEI initiatives)
  • Tackle employee relations with empathy, pragmatism, and sound judgment
  • Use data and insights to drive decisions and proactively address trends
  • Collaborate across Recruiting, L&D, and People Ops to create a seamless employee experience
  • Champion Anyscale’s values and help embed them into everyday practices

Requirements

  • 5+ years of total HR experience
  • 3+ years as an HRBP
  • 1+ years experience in HR operations
  • Experience in fast-paced tech or startup environments
  • Equally comfortable being strategic and hands-on—you don’t shy away from the details
  • Trusted coach and advisor to managers at all levels
  • Skilled at building relationships, influencing without authority, and earning trust quickly
  • Confident using data to tell a story and guide decisions
  • Energized by ambiguity and passionate about building systems that scale
