Responsibilities
Represent Datacom to a broad range of customers, both Government and Corporate, promoting service offerings and developing new business opportunities.
Use innovative and creative methods to ensure targets are met or exceeded by selling Datacom offerings.
Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, partners and vendors.
Requirements
8+ years’ sales experience working within the Perth market
Solid understanding of the Perth market with a substantial network
Understanding of a broad range of IT services with the technical nous to pick up new offerings
Proven ability to manage long sales cycles including RFP responses, working with Datacom’s pre-sales team, line-of-business owners and solution architects
Proven ability to qualify opportunities quickly
Ability to absorb, apply and communicate technical information to a diverse audience
Planning and directing the activities of a team of Business Development representatives, ensuring all employees are motivated to attain predetermined sales targets.
Excellent customer and vendor relationship building and management skills
Strong influencing and negotiation skills
Excellent written and oral skills
Experience in using Salesforce as the sales CRM for tracking opportunity progression through the sales cycle.
