About the role

  • Support the end-to-end employee lifecycle: onboarding new hires and managing employee transitions
  • Plan, organize, and execute company-wide and team events (offsites, in-person and virtual) and culture-building initiatives
  • Draft and distribute internal communications such as company-wide newsletters and periodic company updates
  • Ensure data accuracy and integrity within HR systems and records; handle administrative tasks including I-9 verification, benefit administration, and employment verification letters
  • Proactively identify opportunities to streamline People Operations workflows and leverage AI and other tools to automate backend processes
  • Empower teams and support multiple projects to accelerate company growth

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field
  • 0-2 years of experience in HR, People Operations or related, ideally within a fast-paced startup environment
  • Excellent written and live communication skills
  • Meticulous and detail-oriented
  • Well-organized; ability to support multiple projects and teams while balancing excellence and speed
  • Thrive in ambiguity and fast-paced environments
  • Resourceful and creative; takes initiative to get things done well the first time
  • Mature and professional; able to handle sensitive information with the utmost discretion
  • Experience with HR administrative tasks (I-9 verification, benefit administration, employment verification letters)
  • Legal authorization to work in the U.S. or Canada; may require willingness to relocate to listed states/province
