Working directly with the HR Change Lead, the HR Change Specialist provides support for expansion projects at the three regional acute care facilities in the four functional areas of Human Resources (Recruitment & Retention, Ability Management, Labour Relations, and Occupational Safety & Health).
The incumbent works collaboratively in a matrix structure with team members, programs within the organization, and throughout the larger provincial health care system.
The position functions in a manner that is consistent with the mission, vision and values; and the policies of Southern Health-Santé Sud.
Requirements
Recent and relevant experience managing human resource functions.
Experience in a health care environment preferred.
Completion of Human Resource Management or Business Administration courses an asset.
Basic knowledge and understanding of applicable legislation including Employment Standards (Manitoba), Human Rights Code (Manitoba), Labour Relations Act (Manitoba) is preferred.
Familiarity with Collective Agreements, including interpretation and application.
Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency with Microsoft Office applications required.
Must have a valid Class 5 driver's license, an all-purpose insured vehicle and liability insurance of at least $1,000,000.
Good work and attendance record.
