About the role

  • Maintains and ensures compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including wage and hour and safety regulations
  • Reviews, tracks, and documents compliance for mandatory and non-mandatory training, procedures, and personnel file data
  • Maintains and manages all records (electronic and paper) in accordance with legal requirements
  • Serves as Master HRIS (ADP WFN) database administrator; ensures data accuracy, reporting, and auditing
  • Supports recruitment and facilitates hiring of qualified applicants; collaborates with managers on skills/competencies and attraction methods
  • Responsible for all recruiting processes from requisition to hire, including advertising, ATS administration, offers, onboarding, and documentation
  • Benefit administration setup via ADP WFN and support for annual open enrollment
  • Compensation analysis for new hire requisition approval, internal equity, and annual comp exercise reporting and documentation
  • Leave management tools: partner with VP to run reports, follow up, and audit actions
  • Worker’s compensation administration: maintain procedures and documentation
  • Maintain manager resources folder and ADP portal with current documents
  • EDD responses and actions as requested
  • Perform routine tasks to administer HR programs: compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, disputes, investigations, performance and talent management, occupational health and safety, and training under VP direction
  • Prepare reporting obligations for regulatory compliance (annual and ad hoc: EEO, etc.)
  • Present and deliver training related to Workplace Violence Prevention, Sexual Harassment, and compliance topics
  • Manage employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors; refer complex/sensitive matters as needed
  • Partner with vendors and payroll consultants to ensure accurate and compliant payroll
  • Employee relations: coach and train management to resolve issues and protect company liability
  • Provide general office support such as supply ordering

  • Proficiency with ADP WFN or ability to quickly learn HRIS and talent management systems
  • Best practice standards and innovative implementation
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field (ideal)
  • At least 1 - 3 years of human resource experience preferred
  • SHRM or other certification a plus
  • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer
  • Must be able to lift 15 pounds at times
  • Must be able to access and navigate each department at the organization's facilities
