Responsibilities
Architect and champion initiatives, processes, and structures that reinforce and enhance NCJW's organizational culture.
Foster an inclusive and equitable workplace environment that values diversity and promotes collaboration.
Oversee and update the policies of the organization, expectations of staff, and materials to support ongoing work.
Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent that aligns with NCJW's mission and values.
Design and implement professional development programs to nurture the growth and skills of employees.
Create, oversee, and execute an onboarding process for new employees and an offboarding process for employees leaving the organization.
Develop and execute strategies to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
Implement feedback mechanisms to assess and respond to the needs of the workforce.
Address employee relations issues promptly and effectively, promoting a positive work environment and preventing future issues.
Ensure compliance with relevant employment laws and regulations.
Drive initiatives to promote diversity, equity, and inclusion within the organization.
Collaborate with leadership to implement policies that foster a fair and respectful workplace.
Oversee performance management processes, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
Provide guidance to managers on employee performance, coaching, and development.
Manage and continuously improve the organization's benefits and compensation programs.

Requirements
Bachelor's degree or experience in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
Proven experience in human resources leadership, preferably in a nonprofit or mission-driven organization.
Strong understanding of diversity, equity, and inclusion principles.
Excellent interpersonal, communication, and negotiation skills.
Demonstrated ability to develop and implement HR strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Knowledge of relevant employment laws and regulations.
