About the role

  • Shape and expand dynamic Learning and Development initiatives
  • Design, develop, and update learning materials, resources, and training to address identified learning needs and objectives
  • Create engaging and interactive learning experiences, including on demand, virtual and in person instructor-led training, video, and other learning modalities
  • Collaborate with subject matter experts to ensure content accuracy, relevance and alignment with best practices and industry standards
  • Facilitate training sessions, ensuring effective delivery of content and engagement of participants
  • Utilize adult learning principles and instructional design techniques to enhance learning retention and knowledge transfer
  • Deliver outstanding New Hire Orientation (Bamboo Beginnings) ensuring every team member has a strong start
  • Manage learning management systems and other training platforms to deliver, track and report on training activities and outcomes
  • Leverage technology to create innovative and scalable learning solutions
  • Monitor and evaluate learning effectiveness through assessments, surveys, and feedback mechanisms and make data-driven recommendations for continuous improvement
  • Design and implement assessments to measure training effectiveness and learning outcomes

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent
  • 3+ years of related work experience in learning and development, with a focus on instructional design and facilitation
  • Experience delivering new hire orientation or other live facilitated training experiences
  • Strong understanding of adult learning principles, instructional design methodologies, and training delivery techniques
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple initiatives simultaneously and meet deadlines
  • Ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders
  • Ability to design engaging and innovative learning experiences
  • Employment contingent on passing both a background and credit check
