About the role

  • Payroll Associate managing payroll processes and discrepancies at Datacom. Ensuring accurate and timely payroll delivery and supporting continuous improvement initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Process payroll for Datacom employees accurately and timely
  • Update payroll information
  • Resolve payroll discrepancies and manage enquiries
  • Support continuous improvement and innovation initiatives
  • Prepare standard and ad hoc reports
  • Resolve payment errors in a timely manner
  • Provide accurate advice to management and staff regarding legislation, policy, and system changes

Requirements

  • 2+ years of payroll experience
  • Understanding of relevant legislation and if applicable, award expectations
  • Understanding of the core principles of payroll end-to-end processes
  • Understanding of company business requirements and payroll software/methodologies
  • Strong numeracy skills and attention to detail
  • Effective presentation skills
