Manager Payroll overseeing payroll for approximately 2500 employees at QVC in Germany. Leading a team and developing HR systems within a dynamic international environment.
Responsibilities
Responsibility for payroll processing at three locations for approximately 2,500 employees
Leadership and development of the German payroll team of 13 staff members
HR key user for SAP HCM and strategic further development of the system
Responsible for the management, implementation and optimization of strategically relevant HR systems
Point of contact for tax and social security law matters
Oversee inbound and expatriate processes and coordinate with external service providers
Participation in cross-functional and cross-country projects
Ensure audits (wage tax, social security, SOX)
Requirements
Degree in business administration or a related field, or commercial training with additional qualifications
Several years of experience in a comparable role with management responsibility
Excellent knowledge of tax and social security law
Very good SAP HCM and Excel skills
Ability to understand complex issues and to explain and communicate them clearly
Enjoy working with numbers
Very good written and spoken English
Knowledge of employment law, leave entitlements and working time regulations
Organizational talent, decisiveness and leadership skills
Excellent communication skills, discretion and a strong sense of responsibility
